About us

The Eagle and the Penguin

The Avian Group is a technical consulting firm founded by two airline safety professionals who have spent their careers building safety programs that regulators accept, leaders trust and front-line teams actually use.

The Avian Group logo: Safety, Analytics, Operations. Aerospace, Aviation, Occupational Safety, Marine.

The Avian Group takes its identity from its co-founders’ nicknames, Eagle and Penguin. The eagle stands for altitude, oversight and precision: the world of aerospace and aviation. The penguin stands for adaptation, resilience and steady performance in demanding marine environments.

Together they span air, land and sea, which is how we work: moving between industries while applying the same disciplines of safety management, technical analysis, operational risk, data interpretation and systems thinking.
